The GSM Terminal/ Modem My5005 (Globe System for Mobile Communication) is a new type of wireless terminal that allows users to make and receive phone calls via GSM Network. The Terminal acts as an interface between the GSM Network and a locally connected telephone, PBX, or Payphone. GSM Terminal My5005 supports GSM 900 and GSM 1800 of GSM dual frequency.

GSM Terminal/ Modem My5005 line interface is used to provide an analogue telephone service (POTS) to a subscriber. The Terminal provides SLIC (Subscriber Line Interface Circuit) function at line interface to certain PBX. Most suitable for areas without Fixed Line service.

Now with support of GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) allows you to expand your communications further by allowing you to connect to the Internet using GSM GPRS connectivity.

1) You have to connect payphone to Phone Jack (DTMF), pick up the handset, and you will hear Dial Tone.
2) Payphone permits National Call, International Call, GSM Call, Service Call and Free Call.
3) The interval between dialing two digits of phone number cannot be over 3 seconds.
4) The green indicator stays on when the phone call is connected.
5) You can end the phone call by putting down the handset and then the green indicator will blink at low frequency.
6) After picking up the handset without dialing numbers within 40 seconds, you will hear Busy Tone.
7) When the called party cuts off the phone call, you will hear Busy Tone. Put down the handset to end call.

* The payphone is still allowed to make emergency call of 112 when there is no SIM card inserted or
no PIN code input or service area unavailable.

How To Receive Phone Calls Through GSM Network?

1) Please dial the phone number of GSM Terminal with the general telephone system or the GSM network.
2) When GSM Terminal receives incoming call, it will start the ringer of the phone connected to Phone Jack.
3) You can see the caller’s phone number when GSM Terminal set the function of displaying the caller ID and the phone connected to Phone Jack supports the function of displaying caller ID.
4) You can answer the phone call by picking up the handset when the phone is ringing. The green indicator stays on during the phone call.
5) You can end the phone call by putting down the handset and then green indicator will turn to blink at low frequency.
6) When the called party cuts off the phone call, users will hear Busy Tone. Then please put down the handset.
